Susie, Based on your post, You may have a weak glo bar ignitor on the bake burner, Part number: AP2832933
You may want to turn on the broil burner, and see if the glo bar ignites the gas and you get a flame, That would help to give you more assurence, we're on the correct path. You'll need to remove the lower access panel, or oven bottom panel to observe the bake burner operation. When you select a bake cycle and temperature, the igniter should start to glow within a few seconds*(5 or 10 seconds)- it should glow for approximately 30 to 60 seconds, then release the gas and have a flame on the burner, within a total 90 seconds, if the glow bar is not weak. :) :) :)
