so i installed the valve in the back of the broiler but the oven still won't light , as before the pilot light becomes larger when the dial is turned but the oven doesn't ignite still no gas coming out of the element for the oven. did i put it in wrong or whats wrong?
there is a sleave on the tubing going up from the valve that can be slid around from left to right to ajust how much air mixs in with the gas(im just guessing at this) could this afect it?
this is a maytag made magic chef and there is no igniter element or electricity involved with the entire unit.

we have a maytag made magic chef propane oven, the age is unknown. it has a pilot light and when you turn the knob to turn on the oven the pilot flame gets larger and thats all. ive tryed to light the oven burner with a lighter but no gas is coming out.
the stove top works fine.
any ideas would be of help
