not lighting properly
Model Number: 12-2299-10-05 Brand: Tappan Age: 5 - 10 years
When lighting the over it takes a very long time the kitchen smells like gas and then when it does light it is very loud and the sides of the over flame up.

Most likely the problem is a weak oven igniter. - The part number for the oven igniter is AP2150412 Here are the break down diagrams for the Tappan oven Model 12-2299-10-05 Gene.
