Folk, My wife has set me to a mission, that I suspect, no one has survived before (at least with sanity intact). We just bought a home built in 1959 which has two Tappan Wall Ovens (Model FOK-3100). They differ slightly from one another as one has a temperature probe for meat and the other has a working rotisserre. These ovens are in good shape for their age. One needs a new lower oven element, and possibly a thermosat. The other seems functional except that the clock / timing aparatus has taken a powder.
Any suggestions on suppliers for parts such as oven elements, thermostats, knobs, clock-timer repair? Now that you have had your chance to have your horse laugh, I would appreciate any insight you might come up with for sources. Thanks. J Parrish jay.b.parrish@startouch.net
