The oven burner lights sometimes, but doesnt always stay lit. The igniter comes on and glows a bright orange. Ive read other post that say it could be the safety gas valve or the igniter itself. Any ideas?

If the oven ignitor comes on and the oven does not work, you need to replace the ignitor. It is weak, and it is not strong enough to open the gas valve. Cut and Dry!!! Tom ApplianceEducator.com
