I have a 20" Propane stove problem. All four upper stove-top burners work. The oven has a pilot light and it is on. When the oven demand is on the pilot gets noticably bigger and we wait for the flame to ignite. After two minutes, or so, it ignites but will stay on for 2-6 minutes, depending on its mood at the moment, and then it shuts down. It will then cycle peroidically but for short time periods.
The thermocouple appears to operating normally...
There doesn't seem to be a propane air block of any note...
Do I have a thermostat issue?
This is a very old unit and I am helping a friend live in cheap accomodation. I don't want to replace the unit. This is cost sensitive situation, I would appreciate any help or insight you may have.
thx
