Model Number: ES300 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
I want to make sausage in my oven but I need to cook it at 140 deg. Is there any way to adjust the temperature controller to lower the minimum below 170 deg?

ES300 is a control board type not a model number.
TYhe only way I can think of doing this is to get a thermometer for inside the oven and then use the temperature calibration procedure. It usually allow you to adjust the temperature plus/minus 35 degrees. See your operators manual. You will of coarse have to set it back to where it was when you are finished so that the unit will then operate normally during regular cooking. The following may be the calibration procedure but I am not 100%sure. Calibration: To check oven calibration: 1. Place a thermometer or thermocouple in the center of the oven. 2. Program the oven for bake and the temperature to 350° F. Allow the oven to cycle three times. 3. Average the highest and lowest readings. The average should be within 10° of 350° F. To change the calibration: 1. Touch the bake pad on the control, and using the up arrow set the oven temperature to maximum (550° F). 2. Within 3 seconds touch and hold the bake pad (about 5 seconds) until “00” appear in the display. NOTE: If any numbers other than “00” appear in the display, the control has been previously calibrated in the field. 3. By using the up or down arrows the calibration temperature can be changed + or - 35° F. 4. When the desired calibration is reached, touch the cancel pad to return the control to normal operation
