Model Number: 3468vvv Brand: Magic Chef Age: More than 10 years
I am replacing the hinges and gasket, as the original hinges have worn enough that the door does not close correctly. It looks like I have to remove the stove side panels to get at the hinges. This involves screws on the top, back and bottom of the stove. Is this correct?
The new hinges I got (part number ap4356159) dont have any threads for the mounting screws and the original screws are not self tapping. Is this how the part is intended to come? If I had ordered the hinges with screws would it have come with threads or self tapping screws? Will I be able to find self tapping screws, that will work, at my local hardware store? Or do I have to buy a tap and die kit? I want to avoid a return and reorder. Ads By Google Related Models |
