I have an old, maybe 40+ years, Dulane Fryryte (deep fat fryer) that needs a new power cord. The cord has to be high temperature it travels inside the housing next to the inner bowl where temperatures can reach 400 F in the fat. The old cord appears to be cloth covered, but inside the fryer is is wrapped in, perhaps, an asbestos thread. I was thinking about making something out of this:

Part Details - M-L 5' applaince wire, part number: AP3440556

but was wondering if there was anything better and more "attractive" for an exterior power cord.

I also need some high temp washers, like you find in a faucet, for the grease drain. Thanks.
