Bake Or Broil Not Workink
Model Number: RF302BXGW0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
NEITHER THE OVEN OR THE BROIL WORK BOTH WENT OUT AT THE SAME TIME GOOD POWER GOING IN NOTHING TO EITHER ELEMENT HOW DO I TELL IF ITS THE SLECTOR SWITCH OR THE THERMOSTAT?

Buy yourself a digital multimeter.
You can get a decent meter for under $20.00, you do not need fancy. It is nice if the leads are a couple feet long. If it saves buying one unnecessary part, it has paid for itself. You can then unplug the unit and check for continuity. There is a good sticky on using a meter at the start of this forum.

Try takeing the 2 wires off the thermal fuse, #23 on the chasis list, and put them together, and see if it works. If it does, do not run it like that. Tom ********************************************
