Kenmore dual fuel oven no heating. No error codes. Put new heat sensor probe in, not that. Replaced main board 2 years ago. Not the heating elements, at least my husband does not think it is. He says there is continuity, whatever that is. Help.

Here is a wiring diagram http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Springfield/316417815.pdfCheck the power. The elements require the full 240 volts while the control panel only requires half the line (120 volts). Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times, sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker. If this does nothing, check the voltage at the plug L1 to L2 should be 240 volts L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts. If OK Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out If OK Check the power at the terminal strip. Be careful as 240 volts is lethal !!! If power is OK then it may be an open wire between the elements and the control board or the control board is shot. I believe the board is AP3773933 but would double check this when ordering as it is over $200.00. |
