Nephew put tinfoil in oven!!! Help before wife freaks out!!
Model Number: GE JTP30SP1ss Brand: GE Age: Less than 1 year
Greetings All,
I am glad I found this forum!!! I have a GE JTP30SP1SS Electric Oven. Long story short, my 14 year old nephew in the process of cooking an oversized pizza in my oven did not want to make a mess and decided to line the bottom of the oven with tinfoil. I can't be too mad at him, his intentions were good. It was too late before I figured out what he had done. So my wife has tasked me with getting it fixed. I have found the parts manual from sears direct but I cannot seem to determine which part to order. The part that needs to be replaced is the inside bottom. Also is this something can be easily replaced? Your advice and expertise is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
