Model Number: SGSCV36GS Brand: Thermador Age: More than 10 years
I'm having a problem with a Thermadore "Cook-n-Vent" cooktop where turning the knob results in "pop pop pop" of the spark tips but no gas flow to ignite. Two service techs have concluded that it's not the potentiometers (I've replaced in the past), but the gas valves that are bad in the left front and now the right rear. The second guy also said these hardly ever go bad. They also say the part I need for the left front is 20-02-049-01 or 189878 and is no longer available.
I see it listed here as: Valve, 280, 9,100 r, green Part Number: AP2825581 Manufacturer's Number: 189878 Made by BOSCH Will it be as easy as ordering this part and installing it myself? Ads By Google Related Models |
