Model Number: PLES389 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
We have a Frigidaire PLES389DCE electric oven/cook-top. The oven seems to take a while to stabilize at the set temperature. Then when something is put in to bake, the temperature drops off (as expected), but takes a while to get back to the set point. This is causing problems baking things like cheesecakes that have a lot of mass and pull the oven temperature down, but require the set temperature to cook properly.
The service folks have been out, but not surprisingly the temperature has been okay. It seems the problem is in the temperature control loop. Any suggestions as what might be causing this problem? Thanks! Ads By Google Related Models |
