Can't remove bulb cover

I cannot remove the bulb cover in the oven. It should twist off. But instead of the glass unscrewing the entire base turns. Is there something I can use to losen the two? Or can I go in from the back of the stove to solve the problem?

You will have to get to the back of the oven to hold it from turning.
