I have a Whirlpool oven (RBS305PDQ9) which displayed an error code of F3E3. This code describes a bad temperature sensor. However, when I tested the sensor, it tested "good" at 1082 ohms. My question has two parts; even if the sensor tests ok, could it still be bad or is the control board bad? Thanks much.

Yes the sensor could still be bad but it would be a very uncommon fault re: a connection in the sensor is opening once the sensor gets hot.
If it gives the error without heating up then the board is shot, at least I am 99.9999% sure that is the problem.

Since you have done some troubleshooting if you get the board from AppliancePartsPros if it does not fix your problem you should be able to return it.
