Hi, so we have a Whirlpool Accubake Oven. I cannot find a model number on it. I tried using the model number locator but the only thing I find is a sticker inside the door that has had some of the info scratched off of it. (This machine came with the house my wife bought (before we met in 2007). It was allegedly new then.
When I press 'bake' and then 'start', it makes a clicking noise but it does not begin heating. I can then switch it to 'broil' and it will make three louder clicking noises but does not begin heating then either. The cooktop works perfectly, so gas is coming to the machine. I have tried unplugging it for a while; doesn't help. Is there anything else we can try before we pay $250 for the repairman to come out? I can do minor repair work myself. Any info is appreciated! Thanks, Jesse
