Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/15/2008(UTC) Posts: 21		Hello: I have a Frigidaire Gallery oven/range Model GLGFS66ABB. From reading this forum, I believe I need a new oven igniter. When I start the oven, the igniter glows and gets quite bright; however, it can take from 10-30 minutes to get a flame. There is no gas smell. If I monitor it closely, eventually I will hear the flow of gas and the flame starts to burn immediately. Am I correct that a new igniter should solve this problem? Can the new igniter be installed from the inside or will I need to pull the oven out and connect from the rear? Many thanks!

The best way on your model appears to be from the rear for thewiring and remove the bottom plates in the oven for the rest. Here's the breakdown of your oven Model GLGFS66ABB nat

I also read one post that said the existing wires weren't long enough inside. Don't remember which model oven that was. I appreciate everyone's help!
