Qestion on my oven before the thanksgiving dinner is to be cooked.

I have noticed that my oven is not warming up to the correct temp.
I went and got a thermostat and it shows 325 when I set it for 350. The time to warm up is ok its still around 5-7 mnts to warm up. Do I need one of those hidden bake elements or a new thermostat. I looked in the parts list and could not fine a thermostat for that. Or is it in that nasty computer thing on the base of the stove.

Is it usuall for a electric stove to be of by 25 degrees? But why do I see a difference in my cooking time on things latley?

Keep in mind the thermometer you have in the oven doesn't react quick enough to the oven cycling off and on to get an average temp on the oven and you almost need a digital thermometer you record the temp when the elemnent comes on and you record again when it shuts off and the temp starts to drop you add the 2 togther and divide by 2 and that will give a pretty accurate temp of what the oven is baking at. You are the best judge if its not baking as hot as you like it. If the range has en ERC you can set it 35 degrees hotter or 35 degrees colder in the control panel or if your sure its around 25 degrees off at 350 set it to 375 that is all you are doing anyway by cheating the control. Manufactures allow a 25 degree tolerance either way. And all people bake different some like baking on a hot a stove and some like em cooler.
