My Jenn-Air double oven has the following problem: My wife notice the upper oven was not working properly (different cook time for standard recipes). I have a data acquisition system with a thermal couple. The upper oven temperature variation is about 45 to 50 degrees (as you know, the temperature cycles). The lower oven variation is about 20 degrees. Any ideas? It seems the thermometer or control board that controls the hysteresis is bad. Thanks.

Check the oven temperature sensor resistance. The normal reading suppose to be about 1100 Ohms at the room temperature.

If the sensor is good, replace the oven control board.

- The oven sensor Part number: AP4009009
