I cant get my whirlpool oven door to close, my lights wont go out. It seems the hidges are worn..

When you open the door all the way, does the door go past a 90 degree angle ?


Also look at the front oven panel(where the hinges enter the panel) make sure that the area is not bowed out around the opening.

Check the door seal, for worn areas especially in the lower corners.

If those are all OK, order a new set of door hinges,
