what does error code f3 mean

I replaced the oven sensor with the part you suggested. It still gives a F3 after about 30 seconds. What do you suggest now?

Did the oven sensor measure bad?
The next part would be the control board (clock). I cannot find any tech info on this unit so this is just a guess. I am assuming that the sensor plugs into the clock/control and that the control has the relays to control the elements on it.
Since F3 is a open sensor (infinite ohms) I would check the connectors and tracks on the control board for a crack etc. Could also be a cold solder joint on the board. They are often a duller grey/silver, may have small holes in the solder or you may be able to see the components leg move in the solder joint.
It looks like the control board is obsolete. |
