Kenmore oven defaults from "bake" to "broil"
Model Number: 790.9611 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
Our Sears Kenmore Electric Range, when we program it for "bake" & set the temperature for 450 degrees, transitions to "broil" after it has been on for a few minutes. We just cremated several loaves of bread. I "googled" to see if this was a common problem for the Kenmore model 790.9611, but didn't find much. We are out of manufacturer's warranty by about one year. I'm as dumb as a hammer when it comes to appliance repair. How should we proceed?
