Hello,
The broiler in my oven is not working. Baking works fine. I purchased a new broiler ignitor, which did not fix the problem. The old ignitor resistance is 214 ohms. The new ignitor resistance 104 ohms. The voltage at broiler ignitor 16.7 Vac. There is continuity across the upper 2 terminals at the gas safety valve. It is an open circuit across the upper terminals and the lower terminal of the gas safety valve.
Spending some time looking at the posts on this forum, I'm guessing I need to replace the clock, but at at $219 (ouch!), I'm hoping that one of the very helpful experts on the forum will tell me that it could be something else.
Thanks in advance to all future replies.
