Both the bake elements in my Maytag Gemini double ovens are not working. The one in the upper oven will not heat pass 150 and the lower one says it gets to my desired temperature but it lies. One went out one week then the other the next week. Any ideas before I spend money on elements. I do not think they are the problem!!

Trish, if you have an ohm meter, you can pull the stove out, and take the back off the stove, and of course unplug the stove, and ohm out the element. Take the wires off the elements when you check them. If they check to be OK, then you most likely need a new control panel board. Tom ApplianceEducator.com

I will try this. If the control panel board is the problem is there anyway to get around it?
