Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 10/31/2008(UTC) Posts: 4		The fan on my Jennair downdraft cooktop (black) has quit. I have oredered a switch and new knob from this site. How is the old switch removed? I see two screws holding the switch assembly to the frame but when I removed the screws, the assembly did not lift out. Does anyone have some ideas before I snap somthing off. Thanks..Charlie

When I was trying to find the part number for the fan switch, I also had trouble pulling it up. I called JENNAIR and they used JED8430ACW to pull it up but said it was the same mondel only mine was black. I hope this helps..Charlie
