In June my Whirlpool cooktop shattered after I had used the front large burner. When it cooled down I heard a loud noise and the glass had spidered starting from the center of the burner I had just used. I ordered a replacement glass and it has been working fine until last night when it did the same thing. After cooking and it had cooled down the glass shattered starting from the center of the same burner. Could there be something wrong with the burner underneath the glass or with the switch that would regulate the temperature. I don't want to keep just replacing the glass if there is something else wrong.
