The glass on the door broke and since it is discontinued I cannot get it anywhere. I have tried everywhere possible.

Does anyone know if this glass was used on another oven?

The oven is made by amana but they also make whirlpool and other name brands, so they may have used the same glass on other models.

The part number that I need is 31753503W.

I am even willing to try to have the glass made, I do have a photo of the oven and glass door prior to the break, but I cannot get the exact dimensions.

I called the manufacturer and they were not very helpful at all. They told me they discontinued the part and have no info and they suggested I purchase a new oven. I paid over $1,000 for this built in oven, it still works fine, and I should not have to purchase a new oven because a part broke.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Actually Amana was a Maytag brand, which is now owned by Whirlpool. But Maytag quite making those parts sometime back prior to being bought out. About the only thing you could do is try to locate one that someone else decided to replace and hope te glass is good.
