Igniters still clicking after 3 weeks

Model Number: JGP940SEK222 Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years

I was washing off the stove top and got the inginters wet and they began to click. Normally I would just unplug the stove and wait for the water to dry, however, this time it won't stop.

It has been about 3 weeks and all four ingiters are still clicking. I am sure it is dry by now, so I must have done some damage?

I have a GE Profile model #JGP940SEK2SS, about 2 years old.
