Hi : I have a old Magic Chef Model 59FN-5TVW Serial # 15C038856866, issue is the when turn oven on to a temperature within minutes will beep that it has reached temperature but it doesn’t. I put a thermometer in the oven and when I set it to say 350degrees it actually is only at 200 or so yet it beeps telling me it is at the set temperature and the display reads the temperature of 350 but it never gets that high; The oven has a continuous clicking noise like it is trying to recycle but nothing happens. There are no error codes on the clock. Other times it will just shut off randomly. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you may have a bad oven temperature sensor; or one of your elements is not working. Part number: AP4009009

Hi Magician:
I tested the ohm reading on the sensor and it read just below 1100 ohms so it meets spec. so I don't think it's the sensor.
The ohm reading on the baking element is 215ohms. Is that right?
Also, a bit more info. The broiling works fine.

It sounds like you have good element and sensor. I suspect the trouble is in the control. Part number: AP4102828
