I have a Jenn Aire 5 buner cook top. This morning the one ignitor started ticking and the burner control was off and it wouldn't stop. The only way to stop it is to turn the burner on, low.

Bigcoy,

In this type of situation, it's best to unplug the power cord,if possible.

Are you sure that the :

Burner base is very clean,

The ignitor is clean and free of debris,

The burner cap is on the correct burner, and in the proper orientation ?

If these checks are all satisfactory, you're going to need a new Spark Module.
