i cant find a gasket seal for my wall oven. it is an old oven. whirlpool cant find it with the model number that is on the oven. can i use a gasket from any other model year. the gaskets should be made about the same as long as it is long enough to seal the length of the old one. this should work ,shouldnt it ?

As long as you can find one with the same length, I don't see a problem with this.
