Trying to figure out how to remove electric burner from cooktop. Galvanized cover on the backside of the glass can be accessed easily enough but a lot of screws involved to get to underside of glass. Owner pretty sure it was "easily" accessed before. Don't want to break glass top but burners seem to be sealed in there quite well. Glass top is not totally smooth. Burners actually protrude slightly. Any ideas?
