Model Number: PLES389DCB Brand: Frigidaire Age: 5 - 10 years
My unit has worked well for years but just started to act up. The oven when set to "Bake", set temp., press start immediately overheats. Broiler (top) element appears to come on and stay on. Lower element may not come on at all - not sure. We've burned a few items figuring out we the we hadn't accidently set it to "Broil." This is a digital panel control appliance. Re-set the oven a couple times on lowest temp setting (175) to warm some food after initial overheat and it continued to overheat but less severe (maybe 300-350 degrees??). Any ideas?
