oven will not light

oven will not light

Model Number: 30-2132-00/01 Brand: Tappan Age: 5 - 10 years

igniter glows within seconds of turning on the oven and I smell gas but oven will not light. Don't know if it is a bad gas valve or safety valve. Top burners light fine
