Default Electronic Oven Control Assembly - Ribbon
Model Number: W30400B   Brand: Jenn-Air   Age: More than 10 years

Ordered and received an electronic oven control assembly. Trying to replace the old one. Can't figure out how to unplug the silver ribbon assembly that comes from the touch panel. Tried squeezing the "ears" on the black part and pulling, but it doesn't come off easily. Afraid to pull really hard. Any tips on how to remove this ribbon and attach the ribbon to the new assembly?

Lifting the ears worked great--thanks for your help!
