I've got an old Glenwood Gas Range with Heater on Left side. Stove is in great shape so I don't want to replace. The issue is when I try to light the pilot, it turns off when I turn the pilot knob to ON. Can anyone tell me what the issue is and what needs to be replaced ?

I'd suggest contacting Homestaed Vintage Stoves in Skykomish, Wa. They know a lot about old gas stoves and , tho they take a few days to reply, will talk to you on the phone. If they help, I've offered to and then sent some money to thank them.

Call Homestead Vintage Appliances in Skykomish, Wa. They know a lot about older gas stoves and are willing to talk with you and diagnose over the phone--they may be able to tell you how to repair it or you might order a part thru them. If the former, it's not out of line to send them some money as a "thank you" for saving your old stove. They've helped me with my old gal a few times and I always do that. It may take them a couple days to call you back cause they only do that two days a week.

I have also A Glenwood gas on gas range whos pilot light I can light but when the heater meets the thermostate tempiture and turns off the pilot light goes out. Does anyone know if the pilot tight can be adjusted and/or where I can purchase a replacement heater pilot light.

Also I looking for a site where I can purchase several gas top and i oven spark ignition for the the same Glenwood Range Model #GAK39DA 5J

Depress gas valve dial and light pilot. Hold gas valve dial in depressed position for about 30 seconds. NOTE: sufficent time must be allowed for proper size pilot flame to heat the thermocouple and hold the safety magnet in a lock-up position. Also time must be allowed for air to escape from the gas lines during first operation.
