The broiler will not light in the oven. The ignitor will light, I even tried to light it with a match. The broiler is not getting gas fed to it it seems. The oven works properly on all settings (i.e. bake, convection bake, roast, convection roast, preheat) but the broiler will not light. Is there something I need to check or replace?

You most likely have a weak Broil igniter.

Or at least that's where I would start.

Do you have an ammeter or a multi meter, so you can check it ?

We also need a complete model number(you're missing the last four numbers) to better assist you.

OK,

Sounds good to me.

If he has an ammeter when the igniter is on and glowing he should read a minimum of 3.2 amps or 3.2 volts AC at the broil burner terminals on the oven dual burner valve.

Here's the part number for the broil igniter, if you need it.

Part number: AP3963540
Part number: AP3963540

Good Luck,
