it could be the ignitor... test the gas valve with a ohmmeter..

The oven is a pilot-less oven. I cannot light it. So if it is the igniter I guess that is a part I can order and repleace easily. Anyone know where I can order an ignitor for a amana easy touch 700 gas range? TY

Default model number and need help?

I have a Amana range. model number agr5715qdq . I have located the oven ignitor and found part online for 32$. maytag wanted 101$.
Before i buy it "how do i make sure this is problem"? Once again the oven does not bake when bake button presses on control panel. the broiler works and so does everything else like burners, etc..
Is this a good "guess" and just try replacing it? any tests to figure out problem?
thank you all very much
