Hello,

I just moved in to a condo and I don't know how old the stove is but it is a GE xl44 gas oven Model # JGBS04GPR1WH.

The issue I am having is the oven just stopped working any time we turn it on I smell gas. The cook tops work fine but nothing from the oven or broiler portion.

I have looked in the broiler section and see the pilot light for the oven at the back and when the oven is turned on a second smaller flame appears. I think that is trying to light the oven but I don't see any other flames appear just the 2 small ones in the back.

If there is any advice on what to look at or tech docs I can look over to try and correct this I would appreciate the help. I'm not sure if it is the ignition system for the oven or if it is something else.
