Model Number: ct227nw Brand: Thermador Age: More than 10 years
I have the new element, took out the screws, tried to pull the element out, but it does not want to come through. Is this a model that needs to be taken out of the wall to unhook the wires before the element will come out?

Same problem with broiler element but got no reply help. Looks to me that old broiler element has to be unscrewed from back of oven , but bake element can be replaced from front of oven. Just my opinion since I cannot get an answer from Thermador.
