Oven was set to 325 degrees. Reached 180, heard several beeps and display went blank. Tried again, no beeps but temperature exceeded set temperature. Door was hot to touch. Called GE Service and was advised to turn oven off at circuit breaker, wait 10 minutes and turn it back on. This time when turning on upper oven, the unit displays the temperature setting for 2-3 minutes but does not heat on bake or broil.


It should be noted that the bottom oven works just fine. No error codes were ever displayed.
