Default Self-Cleaning Error Code
Brand: GE   Age: More than 10 years

After about an hour on self-clean the diaplay shows F1 and then starts the cool down cycle.
The oven is only somewhat clean.

OK Thanks. It does seem odd that the F1 code only appears during the cleaning cycle.

That button itself may be sticking causing the code. I personally never use the self clean cycle.
