My wife simultaneously turned on a burner and pressed the "bake" button and in doing so fouled up the control commands of the oven. By that I mean the oven light stays on, the oven control displays the "lock" symbol, the oven door will not open and the oven buzzes about every 2 minutes. We can use the burner by lighting with a match, however the oven is useless at this point. My base assumption is that in entering two commands, the electical spark ignition of the burner and the pressing of the bake button, the computer circuit board shorted out, and yes she did smell an "electrical " burning smell. If indeed the circuit board/computer needs to be replaced, how technical is that and what all pitfalls are there to avoid in doing so. Thanks in advance!
