I have a 6 month old Whirlpool "Gold" microwave oven. I accidentally hit something on the control panel and now the oven lock is stuck in the open position, preventing me to fully close the oven door. The light remains on, I'm unable to screw the bulbs out, and I don't know how to microwave my can of beans for my dinner.

I've tryed looking into the manual but it doesn't seem to address the problem. The closest advice is to hold the start button for 5 seconds until "lock" displays. Then do it again until "unlock" displays". Still no luck.

I've also shut off and on the power to no avail.

I hate cold beans from a can. Don't you want to help me quick?
