Model Number: SF111PQX Brand: Whirlpool Age: Less than 1 year
OK, so this is a bottom of the line (like not even a clock!) range that came with our recently purchased house. Problem is that all 4 of the burners are 9500BTU units that won't allow a simmer even on the lowest heat (making rice is out of the question). So the question is, can I convert one of the burners to a lower heat output? If so, how much do I need to replace - just the burner top, just an orifice or both? Or more? -- Thanks!
