Electric element is good, no power to burner, no "on" light when switch turned on. Do I need another infinite switch or another problem? How to check?

Scott,

You most likely need an infinite switch,

If you have a multi meter, that reads voltage and resistance, you can check for voltage and broken wires.

Remove the element(s) and check for 220 Volts AC at the receptacle(s).

(you should raise the top and check for voltage, where the wires enter the backside of the receptacles).

Voltage at all infinite switches should be 220 Volts across the H1 and H2 terminals, with the switch turned on.

*** This is a live voltage test, so be CAREFUL ***

Part number: 4391989

You should be able to determine your problem with those two tests.

Good Luck,
:) :) :)
