Default Jenn-Air Oven and Broiler Elements Not Working
Model Number: SVD48600W   Brand: Jenn-Air   Age: 5 - 10 years   
Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com
Both the oven and broiler just stopped working. Pressing the control panel buttons for either "bake" or "broil" generates a soft electrical "hum" but no heat. The control panel and oven light still work. Looking for guidance on how to isolate problem and potential parts to replace.

Open the control panel and check the connections, before you do anything else.

Just to ad my 2 cents...

I would also recommend to check the high limit switch (#23 on the break down diagram) for continuity and replace if it's open.

- The part number for the high limit switch is AP3749994

Did you fix your problem, because I have exactly the same one. What part did you replaced?

I replaced the high limit switch to no avail. I then weighed the cost to get an onsite diagnosis and probable cost of parts (along with other factors)and chose to replace the entire stove/oven
