we have a maytag made magic chef propane oven, the age is unknown. it has a pilot light and when you turn the knob to turn on the oven the pilot flame gets larger and thats all. ive tryed to light the oven burner with a lighter but no gas is coming out.
the stove top works fine.
any ideas would be of help

Your gas valve/regulator may be out.

the stove has two regulators one on the tank and one in the stove top, how can i tell which one? and where is the gas valve and how would i know if its not working?
