The Thermostat Knob turns Clockwise on the replacement Thermostat (GEH WB21X378 - AP2023369). Model: JCP67H5AD Serial: TH296003J On the old Thermostat the same Knob turned Counter-Clockwise and all the settings lined up starting with 200-500, Broil, Clean. On the new Thermostat the first setting is Clean then Broil then 500-200 with a definite stop at 200. The "ON" light comes on around 350-400 degrees but goes "OFF" at lower settings. I'm concerned that the CLEAN setting is in the wrong place; the last time I tried to calibrate I broke it. Don't want to repeat the mistake.

Lee Try switching the knobs, sounds like they're on the wrong comonents. (thermostat knob on the selector switch and vice versa). Are you sure you orderred the correct part number ? for the correct oven ?

   Switching the knobs is not an option: the Selector knob has no Degree settings. As to the correct part, you sent the same part twice and had the Model and Serial numbers. I think I have to do further research in the hopes of finding the correct Thermostat, or maybe use the old one as a last resort. Thanks.

When a manufacturer makes that drastic a change in a component(reversed rotation) they usually include a new knob and or an instruction sheet. In most cases with your description, technicians find that the consumer removed the knobs(for whatever reason),and reinstalled them on the wrong switch(s). That's why I reccomend, you try switching the knobs. If you're sure that is not the case : You may want to call our parts order line, 1- (877)-477-7278 Have the original part in hand, it usually has numbers stamped somewhere on the part. We may be able to cross reference that number, for you. Good Luck,
